This site has much information pertaining to the meet ( race day instructions, parking information, records, waivers, etc )
Please inform parents of the website.
This year you will not have to declare a specific race for each entry ( i.e Either a Grade Race or a Team Championship Race) as we requested in the past.
On meet day send the athletes to an appropriate Grade Race (unlimited runners) or the Correct Division Team Champion Race (5-7 runners).
Regarding Divisions: This applies only to schools who are planning to or thinking the possibility of sending runners to the TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP RACES.
Please let me know now if you are planning to enter the Team Championship Races or are thinking you might enter but are not sure. Why? We want to make sure you know the Division of your school. www.lwrun.org has a list of Division assignments but it is not all inclusive. We will update the list as new schools notify us.
On race day send any 5-7 runners to the appropriate championship race (if you wish) and all others to the appropriate grade race!!!
ENTRY PROCEDURE:
As the meet has grown over 10 years we have attempted to keep the entry process as simple and as economical as possible while allowing efficient meet management. This comes at the same time online registration options are becoming more sophisticated, more expensive, and sometimes less user friendly. Two of our past options no longer offer online entry and sending in spreadsheets with separate payment no longer works with well over 100 schools being represented.

Late entry cost is $10 per entry.
One may enter one runner or an entire team at any log-in. One may also return to enter additional runners.
We strongly recommend entering only those who are likely to run, and to do all entry at one time.
You will need to include first name, last name, sex, then pick the grade from a drop down menu, and pick the “school/city of school” from a drop down menu. These are listed alphabetically by school name.
If you are sure your school does not appear, select "Other".
If Other:
Select the next step where you may enter a school name and city of school for every entry if "Other" was selected as the team.

The person doing the entry must also enter their email address - but the email needs only be entered once if a coach is entering multiple competitors.
If you are entering multiple competitors, repeat the process. There is not a way to upload a full team roster.
After completing all individual entries, proceed to check-out.
The race entry fee per individual is $5.00 (same fee since 2013).
This year, there is also a $1.50 transaction fee assessed by SimplyRegister. That fee is for all entries done at one time, which is why we recommend doing all entries at one time. If there is a late add, that single entry incurs $1.50.
There is also a 6% fee per runner entered - that's 30 cents on the $5.00 entry fee
Examples:
If you enter one runner - Race entry fee $5.00, transaction fee $1.50, service fee $0.30 = $6.80 total
If you enter 40 runners - Race entry fee 40 x $5.00 ($200), transaction fee $1.50, service fee $0.30 x 40 ($12.00) = $213.50
We understand that there are some schools who have not yet formally placed this meet on their schedule and we do appreciate that you do inform the parents of the opportunity to enter their youngster(s) themselves. The cost of entering the meet in this case will be less if one parent is willing to enter all at one time. Please direct the parents to www.lwrun.org for ENTRY PROCEDURE.
Entry fees can be paid by credit card or by online check (ACH).

Schools or full teams may also use a Purchase Order or bring a check with a pre-notification request sent to office@usatfne.org
In each case, the per-individual entry fee and service fee is charged and due. $5 + $0.30 = $5.30 per entry.
The amount is based on the number of runners entered online and NOT on the number of runners that ran on race day.

Except for the PO / full team option, the entry fee must be paid at time of online entry.
One can do entries in multiple sessions, but each session will incur charges for that group of runners being entered (That is, charges do not accumulate through the entry period).
There are no refunds.
One may go into the system and replace a non-competing runner with a new name by editing the initial entrant's information and will not be charged.
Coaches / parents must also go to www.lwrun.org to download the waiver form, have one signed by the parent or legal guardian of each entrant, and submit those in one batch on race day in exchange for the team packet.
