To our best reckoning 1997 will be the 27th Lynn Woods 10 Mile Relay. Results and history prior to the early 1980s have become pretty spotty. If anybody has results or newspaper clippings on the missing years, please pass them along.

The course was changed in 1986 to start and finish at the "rocks" for safety reasons. Prior to that it started at or outside the main gates. That makes the time by Greater Boston TC in 1977 of 51:42 on the old course pretty impressive. No team's yet been able to get all 4 runners under the magic 13 minute mark.
